MBI Commercial Due Diligence

A team led by a Nuenco consultant were retained by RBS to perform a commercial diligence review of a proposal by an incoming team to perform a 'Management Buy In' of a long established Oil & Gas service and supply organisation assisted by debt financing from RBS.

The diligence exercise focussed on an assessment of the capability of the incoming team to execute the business plan they had proposed to the bank and a detailed verification of their assumptions in terms of competitor analysis, Oil & Gas market volatility and marketing strategy. The review required minor adjustments to the business plan and ultimately recommended that the deal to buy the market leading hydraulic hose and accessories business be completed with the support of RBS.
